23 years in the roofing industry. “Wedon’t just work in Pinellas County. We live here, shop here and haveraised our families here. We wantedto let the community know just howimportant they are to us,” says ArryHoush, president of Arry’s Roofing.“We have always been involved incommunity projects since we startedour business. One of the most importantthings for the Arry’s Roofing familyis community outreach. When a fel-low contractor from Detroit, MIhighlighted the No Roof Left Behindprogram as a way to thank communi-ties for their support, Arry Houshknew it would be a great fit for thebig hearted team at Arry’s Roofing.“We are just so excited about imple-menting a philanthropic program likethis at home,” says Arry. “It is just anatural fit here in Pinellas County. We recognize that not everyone can

afford to get his or her roof replaced. But having a secure roof overheadcan bring peace of mind to a familyin need.”

Other local businesses are askedto show their community apprecia-tion as well. “We think it’s a greatway to rally the community to-gether,” offers Matthew Housh, vicepresident of Arry’s Roofing. “That’swhy we’re inviting other PinellasCounty businesses to show support

Tattooing, an art form thathas been around for over 4,000years, is a symbolic way for peopleto express to the world theirbeliefs and feelings, while show-casing unique aspects of theirpersonality and their taste indesign and artistry. For centuries, people have used their skin ascanvas for tattoo art to beautifytheir body, serve as an expressionof individuality, pay tribute to aloved one or simply signify a formof adornment.

“Tattoos tell stories of your

life,” says Litos, owner and headtattoo artist at Forbidden Images,“and my job as a fine art tattooistis to master the ability to stoptime and capture it on your skin.”

Litos has been in the tattooindustry for over 35 years. Origi-nally from Rio De Janeiro, Brasil,he has dedicated his life to creat-ing art on paper, canvas and skin.Recognized in the industry withnumerous national and interna-tional awards for his art, he stillhas the same passion as when hefirst started. “I am blessed andhonored to be chosen to be theartist responsible to immortalize

my clients’ most special images,”says Litos. His work can beviewed at the website atwww.ForbiddenImages.com.

Litos runs the shop alongsidehis wife Julie and talented tattooartist Steven Cornicelli.

Steven Cornicelli After walking into Forbidden

Images in early 2012, Steven wasastounded by the artistic atmos-phere of the shop. “Just walkinginto the shop inspires you,” saysSteven. “I met with Litos andJulie and they offered me achance of a lifetime – I took it!”

Born in Maryland in 1970,Steven is a creative artist who hasbeen drawing his entire life. Inthe early 1980s art became a wayfor Steven to express himself – itstarted with tracing superheroesout of comic books that openedup the floodgates to a life dedi-cated to art. As a young adult,Steven studied art anatomy classesat SUNY Farmingdale as well asart and design classes at the ArtInstitute. After getting his firsttattoo at the age of 18 he washooked and realized tattooingwas his calling. Although it tooksome time for his dream to be-

ours,” says Litos. “When youcome to us you will get one-on-one attention. We ask a lot ofquestions so we can accurately in-terpret your feelings about thetattoo as opposed to just creatingan image. It’s not just the subjectof the tattoo; it’s the meaningthat creates the tattoo.”

She isnormally nervous at the dentist, butshe came out smiling and wanting tofloss! The office is very cool with flatscreen TVs for kids to watch whilethey get their teeth worked on. Theygive personal attention to their pa-tients in a positive environment. Ihighly recommend them!”

Families Love Dr. ChrisWorking with children is a bit of a

calling. Ask any teacher, pediatrician orin this case, pediatric dentist, andthey’ll tell you that working with kids issomething that they are naturally goodat, and something that they really enjoydoing. Similarly, while completing hisdental training, Dr. Chris rotatedthrough the pediatric program and justknew that was where he belonged.

“I’ve always connected and re-lated well to children, and I like tohave fun and be myself while I’m atwork,” says Dr. Chris. They call meDr. Elmo because I do Elmo imper-sonations sometimes. The kids loveit.”

Wanting to create an office thatwould make everyone feel happy andcomfortable, Dr. Chris actually had ateam from Disney come in and deco-rate his practice, and kids from 1 to 99get a kick out of that. The artists evenadded a cartoon version of theirpuppy, Frisco! He opened Trinity Pe-diatric Dentistry in August of 2012,and families love that it’s a fun, happyplace to come and get those pearlywhites taken care of.

Parents love Trinity PediatricDentistry as well because their focus ison communication, prevention, andtaking their time. Dr. Chris says, “Un-like other offices, I won’t double-bookmy patients. Instead, I book one fam-ily at a time, and I do that because Ilook at parents as part of the team.”He adds, “At each visit I give the par-ents a handout of information becauseI’m a resource to the parents. I wantto make sure they’re able to assist withbrushing and flossing. Prevention isdefinitely key.”

Trinity Pediatric Dentistry treatspatients from infancy until they are 18.Dr. Chris’s recommendation is thesame as the American Academy of Pe-diatric Dentistry, which suggests thatchildren come to the dentist for thefirst time at about 6 months old to es-tablish a dental home, and to makesure that they are reaching certainmilestones.

Dr. Chris says, “A lot of it is edu-cation, and the early visits are all aboutmaking sure that the children arehealthy.”

Dan takes his children to TrinityPediatric Dentistry, and he says, “Myfive children have never liked the den-tist until NOW! They all loved Dr.Chris and his staff.”

Taking Care of Kids One Tooth at aTime.

These kids have it so lucky! WhenI was a little girl, going to the dentistwas...well, it wasn’t like this! This placeis awesome. The entire office at TrinityPediatric Dentistry is laid out in a wayto make it family-friendly. Instead ofhaving each patient sit in a separateroom, they offer one open treatmentarea that kids (and parents) don’t findintimidating. It’s bright, fun and effec-tive! The treatment area offers flat

screen TVs for the kids to watchwhile they get their teeth cleaned, and there’s even a place for sib-lings to play just adjacent to thetreatment area if need be, al-though it’s the patients themselveswho most often go over to playwith the iPads and games. Each ofthe dental chairs are brightly col-ored and shaped like surf boards,so don’t be surprised if you takeyour child to the dentist, and theycome out talking about how theysurfed their way to a no-cavity re-ward!

Kids love rewards, who does-n’t, right? So Trinity Pediatric

Dentistry uses a point system to helpeducate and encourage their patientsto take care of their teeth. They canearn rewards for positive things out-side of dentistry as well, like goodgrades, staying active and more. Thekids get Trinity Pediatric Dentistry t-shirts, and win cool prizes. Parents caneven get in on the reward action byrecommending Dr. Chris and his staffto their friends!

Uh-Oh! Someone Has a CavityWhat happens if going to the

dentist isn’t just about fun and gamesand shiny teeth? What if there’s adreaded cavity? Enter super heromusic here, because the truth is thatDr. Chris knows exactly what he’sdoing. His office is stocked with all ofthe latest tools and gadgets that makedetecting and taking care of cavities hisbusiness. He has digital x-ray ma-chines, which offer far less radiationthan the outdated versions, and he hasa few separate Disney-themed roomswhere he fills cavities and does morecomplicated dental procedures whennecessary. No matter what, Dr. Chrisand his staff keep things light and funthroughout the process.

He explains the importance of

treating cavities inbaby teeth by say-ing, “Baby teethserve an importantrole in a child’s de-velopment. Asidefrom chewing foodfor proper diet andnutrition, babyteeth are crucial inlearning to speak, providing a nice ap-pearance and smile,as well as reservingspace for perma-nent teeth as thechild’s face and jawsdevelop. Because acavity is an infectionof the tooth causedby bacteria the in-fection can spread, even to your brain, in severe cases.Prevention by brushing and flossingregularly is the key!”

While it isn’t usually necessary touse sedation, sedation dentistry is of-fered at Trinity Pediatric Dentistry. Se-dation is endorsed by the AmericanDental Association and the AmericanAssociation of Pediatric Dentistry. After all, they are specialists, and if amore extensive procedure is necessary,Dr. Chris and his staff can offer safechoices so that your child does nothave to suffer during their treatment.

Angela said, “My kids are older, and both kids loved Dr. Chris and hisstaff. From a parent’s point of view:very informative, clean, friendly andhelpful.”

Dr. Chris is clearly a favorite withfamilies, and while his office hours aretraditional, his commitment to his pa-tients is not. He even gives his cellphone number to parents, in case they

need him in an emergency. A mom named Haley wrote this

testimonial on his website, saying,“My 13-month-old daughter fell athome last night. Dr. Chris came in themiddle of the night and took care ofLilly. I can’t thank Dr. Chris enough!”

Trinity Pediatric Care accepts pa-tients who carry many dental insur-ances, as well as PPOs. The practicealso participates in Care Credit, whichis an affordable financial option, sothat nothing comes in the way of yourchildren’s oral health.

Joanne and her staff, Doris Nun-ziata and Dana Sheranek, at Curveshave completed online ClevelandClinic courses to become CurvesComplete Cleveland Clinic CertifiedWeight Loss Coaches.

Joanne is lively, friendly and theCurves gals adore her! “I was a mem-ber first,” says Joanne, sharing why shemade the decision to grab an opportu-nity and purchase the local Curvesfranchise when it was still located atMitchell Ranch Plaza. “I loved it somuch! I was in higher education for20 years and fitness and nutrition werethe only other areas in which I was re-ally interested. Curves motto is twowords, ‘Strengthening Women,’ andI’m lucky that I get to do that everyday.”

Curves Complete Local Success Sto-ries

“Curves will change your life! Itchanged my life and helped with myself-esteem. I love this place!” ex-claimed Josephine, a resident of Trin-ity who has been a member of Curvesfor four years and just celebrated her1,000th workout – yes, one thousand! She proudly showed off her Curves’1,000 celebratory t-shirt, just one ofthe many incentives at Curves.

New to Curves, Santa has onlybeen a member for one week but al-ready feels better. “I enjoy it,” saysSanta. “It’s very good and it’s nothard. I have felt a difference right awayand the vitamins help a lot. I amshocked.”

Weight loss is important to manymembers and Curves Complete deliv-ers. Trinity resident Rose shares thatshe lost 14 pounds and 15 inches insix weeks. “I can’t live without it! I’mgoing to do it for myself this time,”says Rose, adding “and it’s not just thecoaches who are wonderful here butalso all of the ladies. There is a lot ofencouragement.”

Karen, also from Trinity, says,“It’s fantastic. I’ve lost 20 pounds and11 inches in 12 weeks, so I say IT

WORKS!” New Port Richey resident,

Nancy has lost 45 pounds. Sheshares, “I love it! It is the onlyprogram that has worked forme. I’ve tried Weight Watchers,Nutrisystem – I’ve tried themall. Curves Complete is the onlyprogram where I have kept offthe weight, and I am continuingto lose.” Joanne piped in, “Shewas a very good participant. She did everything I told her todo.” Then Nancy shared howCurves really changed her life, “Fifteenyears ago I had a heart attack. Curveshas really been a life saver. This place iswonderful and Joanne is the reasonwhy – if they could just clone Joanneand put her in every single Curves, they would be a lucky company!”

Curves Complete is Personalized toWork For You

“The Curves workout helps youbuild lean muscle,” says Joanne. “Thatis where Curves Complete differs frommost weight loss programs where peo-ple lose muscle. With strength training- building and maintaining muscle, you are losing only fat. For instance ifyou lost 20 pounds with this program,15 of those pounds may be fat andthat is what you want to lose. Muscleis more metabolically active, so main-taining muscle is key to prolongedweight loss.”

Joanne showed me how the cir-cuit training machines work for all lev-els of fitness, “from those who’venever set foot in a gym before all theway to marathon runners.” She ex-plains, “Because of the hydraulic cylin-der [construction] they are actuallypushing fluid through the cylinder tocreate resistance.”

A nifty little key tag, calledCurvesSmart, which is a personalcoaching system, is given to eachmember and it keeps track of your

workouts. Members are rewarded atvarious milestones, like Josephine’s“1,000” t-shirt. CurvesSmart alsoserves as a personal motivator becauseit tracks your personal progress, settingthe bar a little higher with each ses-sion. Joanne says, “This little key tag isgoing to push you – if it goes to or-ange, you’ve got to kick it up a notchuntil it turns green!” There are otherfun motivaters too. Every time you hityour maximum target for the day, youget to ring the bell, which gets every-one cheering you on.

If you are looking for a placewhere you can get into shape, makefriends with women who will supportand encourage you, benefit fromweekly coaching sessions, and havefun, then Curves is right for you.

If you are a member of the SilverSneakers program or Silver & Fit, yourinsurance pays your membership fee –ask Joanne for details.

It is about the people you meetand the relationships you build andgetting the most out of your players, the other coaches and most impor-tantly – yourself.” I was fortunateenough to have been a student ofCoach Beets, and it is my honor towrite about the legacy of such an in-spirational mentor!

Coach Beets grew up playing ball,

and his coaching career began with alove of the game and a vision. He says,“I got into coaching because I wantedto be able to give athletes that sense ofcamaraderie that I experienced playingsports and convey to others what mycoaches gave to me.” After graduatingfrom Austin Peay State University inTennessee, he accepted a coaching po-sition at Gulf High School in 1974,thus beginning his career. After coach-ing for five years, including three atGulf High and two at Hudson, CoachBeets transferred to Ridgewood, where he remained as the head varsitycoach for the next 28 years. When hestarted at Ridgewood, it was merely ajunior high school, and together withother members of the staff helpedbuild the baseball stadium from theground up. Step-by-step and brick-by-brick Coach Beets helped lay the foun-dation for Ridgewood High School’sbaseball team and the future of theirathletic program. Coach Beets is mar-ried to Donna, his lovely wife of 40years who he met in college, who isalso a teacher, and together they havea beautiful daughter Bethany.

Much of Ridgewood’s baseballsuccess could be attributed to CoachBeets’ rigorous work ethic and strat-egy. “Repetition is the key to success,”says Coach Beets. “We never took aday off. If it rained we waited for therain to clear. I didn’t want my playersto get used to going home – they

might have liked it too much.” Andthe results speak volumes, with 565wins in his varsity career, including astate championship game appearancein 2002, where his team was ranked asthe best 4A public school in the state.

Coach Beets says, “I think it isimportant to teach at the school you

On our interview hehappily recanted stories of what hisformer players were up to and howthey have succeeded after high school.

Over the past 33years as a head varsitycoach in Pasco County,Coach Beets has formedmany lasting relation-ships with other coaches

in the area, including that of East LakeVarsity Head Coach Dan Genna. Afriendship built upon mutual respect, both coaches share the same love ofbaseball and dedication to seeing theirathletes succeed. Coach Beets says, “Iknew of Coach Genna when he playedin high school and knew he would bea solid coach. He is very disciplined.”As a big fan of Coach Beets, CoachGenna wanted a way to honor hismentor when he heard that the coachwas getting let go from Ridgewoodafter over 28 years of coaching. I grew up going to the same bak-ery that my parents went to; for that’swhere their parents had been orderingbreads, pastries and cakes for specialoccasions for as long as they could re-member. With the freshest treats intown, no other bakery was an option, and over the years, going to the bak-ery became a tradition and a rite ofpassage. Plus, if you got to sit in thefront seat with Grampy on the way, then dessert was going to taste thatmuch sweeter. The spirit of SweetCaroline’s is the same as that old bak-ery – offering fresh baked breads, pas-tries, cupcakes, scones and cakes, allmade with love and baked fromscratch for all of your family’s specialoccasions.

Located at 3347 Tampa Road, in

the Shoppes at Cloverplace near theLake St. George intersection, SweetCaroline’s Bakery has been using theold standby of finding the way toeveryone’s hearts via their stomachssince they opened in 2009. Now, cus-tomers have another reason to licktheir lips and pat their tummies be-cause Sweet Caroline’s recently ex-panded their bakery to include a caféthat will offer unique sandwiches, quiches, homemade soups, gourmetcoffee and a place to sit, sip and enjoy.

The new addition will be formallyintroduced at their Sweet Caroline’sBakery Café Grand Opening on May22, and to celebrate, Sweet Caroline’swill be holding an exciting customerappreciation event that will give every-one a taste, along with live music, drawings and prizes.

After trying his handat a few other things, Rich decided tofollow his heart and Sweet Caroline’swas born.

Rich says, “We based our café onthe same principals that proved suc-cessful in our bakery – that of home-

made items made with the freshest andfinest natural ingredients, baked theold-fashioned way.”

Popular all year round, SweetCaroline’s bakes everything from spe-cialty holiday items like GermanChristmas Stollen, Buche de Noel andHot Cross Buns to traditional cakes, cheesecakes, and pies. Truly a family business, Rich’smom, Mary Cannici, has been in therestaurant business for 45 years, andshe is the one responsible for creatingtheir top-selling item. Is it one oftheir mouthwatering cakes? Is it ascone or decadent danish? Believe itor not, it’s Mary’s PennsylvaniaDutch chicken potpie turnover!

Rich says, “They are the biggestselling item in the entire store. We

make about 200 of them every otherday and sell them frozen, ready totake home and bake in your ownoven or to keep in your freezer for aquick meal. They sell as fast as we canmake them. No thawing, no prep.People go crazy over them. The suc-cess we’ve had with these potpies wasactually the main driver behind open-ing the cafe.” He adds, “In fact, she’sthe person responsible for all of thesavory items we’ll be offering in thecafe.”

Rich also has two pastry chefs,Mandy Akers and MelindaLaChapelle, who have such extensiveschooling and backgrounds in makingpastries that we don’t have room to

include the details! Suffice it to say,the quality and excellence of thebaked goods at Sweet Caroline’s farsurpasses what you would find any-where else.

The centerpiece of any party isthe cake, and Sweet Caroline’s spe-cializes in beautifully decorated cakes, whether you would like a traditionaltiered masterpiece for your upcomingnuptials, or want to create somethinglike the picture you found on Pinter-est, the decorators and pastry chefson staff can make the confection inyour imagination a reality. Sweet Car-oline’s is also competitively pricedand affordable, which often surprisespeople who feel that they can only af-ford a cake from a grocery store.

One local customer said, “Thecake was terrific and we got rave re-views from 17 family members. Ourcake had a cannoli cream center thateveryone loved. Rich really went outof his way to make it special. It washis idea to have me email a photo ofthe original wedding cake and theydecorated the anniversary cake thesame way. It made my mother-in-lawtear up.“

Rich says, “One of the thingsthat make us unique is that we offergluten-free, sugar-free and evendairy-free cakes, cookies and more forthose customers who have special di-etary needs.”

So, if youknow someone who loves sweets, butalways feels like they can’t have any,Sweet Caroline’s can create some-thing perfect just for them.

Dr. Kerr is passionate about Reju-venation Medicine and strives to be atthe forefront of the scientific commu-nity in order to help the patients atNational Rejuvenation Centers (NRC)regain their passion for life. NRC, lo-cated on US 19 N in Palm Harbor be-hind Lee Roy Selmon’s restaurant, isnot an anti-aging clinic. Dr. Kerr ex-plains, “The term anti-aging reallydoesn’t make sense because people aregoing to age. What we offer is Rejuve-nation Medicine, which is a combina-tion of bio-identical hormonereplacement therapy, nutrition and ex-ercise that is different for every patientbecause every patient is different. Ourgoal is to bring our patients’ hormonelevels back to that of a healthy, athletic20-year-old so they have the energyand ability to do the things they wantto do. Not only that, we want to helpthem look better too.”

Hormone replacement therapy(HRT) has been around for years andhas had its share of controversy butDr. Kerr explains that advances in thisarea of medicine is literally changinglives. “Bio-identical HRT is a lot dif-ferent than traditional HRT,” says Dr.Kerr. “For one thing, you can’t justgive a patient one hormone and expectall of their hormone levels to be bal-anced and optimized. We go over eachpatient’s medical history in detail andkeep a close check on his or her bloodwork throughout his or her treatment. We do comprehensive blood workcomplete with hormone panels at theonset of care to devise a treatmentplan specific to the patient’s needs. Iwant all of my patients’ blood profilesto be perfect.” He explains that by bal-ancing hormones, the body is actuallyprotected. “Real progesterone makeswomen feel good, decreases PMS, in-creases sex drive and it’s anti-carcino-genic – it’s good stuff!”

Of course, anything that you takehas side effects, right? Dr. Kerr doessay that NRC patients have reportedside effects during treatment –body fatloss, better muscle tone, better sex life, energy, elevated mood, clearer think-ing and clarity, and an overall feelingof wellbeing and happiness.

Joining the Rejuvenation NationDr. Kerr has always been passion-

ate about hormone therapy, nutrition, and exercise. He received his under-graduate degree from the University of

South Florida and then earned hisD.C. degree from Logan University inSt. Louis, Missouri in 1998. Workingwith some of the leading minds in hor-mone therapy, exercise and nutritionfor over two decades, he really wantedto help people live their best lives, andwhen his own father began to growolder and lose his love for life, Dr. Kerrlooked into integrating rejuvenationmedicine into his own practice. He re-calls, “My mother called me one dayand said my dad was dying. He hadsuffered too many strokes and he wasfrail. I said, ‘Dad, you’ve got to trythis stuff.’” His father, who is almost80, was not interested in anything andwas going to bed at 4:30 in the after-noon. “Around the five-week mark[after starting bio-identical HRT] Istopped by after work to find my dadthrowing a football with a kid fromdown the street! Now, he feels sogood that we have to tell him to slowdown.”

After seeing the difference in hisown father, Dr. Kerr became dedicatedto helping others reclaim their lives, and really enjoy every moment, so hefounded the National RejuvenationCenters.

The main goal for the doctors atNational Rejuvenation Centers is toeducate their patients, and the public,on the new direction of hormone re-placement. Bio-Identical HormoneReplacement Therapy is different be-cause it is made up of supplementaldoses of hormones that have a chemi-cal structure identical to the hormonesthat the human body already creates, and it is becoming a very popular solu-tion to the stressful lives that so manypeople are leading. Many people areturning to Rejuvenation Medicine. Infact, according to her website, evenOprah is using it.

There was a time when this typeof treatment was only for the wealthy, but that isn’t the case at NRC. “Iwanted to make this affordable for theaverage person,” says Dr. Kerr. NRC’spatients are from all walks of life, fromcivil service employees to millionaires, men and women are finding renewedjoy for life and boundless energy withthe help of the doctors, trainers, andnutrition experts at NRC.

Patients See and Feel the DifferenceNRC Makes

Arman E., a certified personaltrainer in Trinity who is 49, says, “Ihave noticed much improved energylevels since starting my program [atNRC].”

Most patients notice that theysleep better. This was one of the firstthings that Dr. Kerr noticed in himself. He says, “When I started, one of thefirst things I noticed was better sleepwhich your body needs – it’s recover-ing while you sleep.”

Catherine A. is 46 and started theprogram just over a year ago. Sheshares, “I have noticed changes inmuscle tone, skin tone, and I sleep 8hours per night easily!” Cat loves thebenefits she has experienced and saysher sex drive and her energy level isgreat. She also appreciates the fact the

Dr. Kerr considers your entire medicalbackground and encourages patientsto talk to their other doctors abouteverything they are doing. “This pro-gram is highly recommended with thecaveat that you share all informationwith your General Practitioner andGYN (if you are a female). I am a firmbeliever that ALL doctors should beinvolved and engaged with what theirpatient is doing regarding supple-ments, meds and natural hormones. Itis also critical to understand that ahealthy lifestyle is important. Exercise, healthy eating habits and CHEATING

personal training gains and overallhealth and wellbeing. I’ve been ableadd muscle detail without weight gainand through diet and exercise, havebeen able to eliminate some medica-tion.”

Tom D., 57, says, “I have beenseeing Dr. Kerr at the National Reju-venation Centers for over one year.Since starting the program I havemore energy. My metabolism has in-creased and I have lost 12 pounds inthe first 6 months. I am getting 8 to 9hours of sleep each night and wakingup refreshed and ready to tackle myday.”

NRC patient Donna, who will be53 this April, says, “A big thanks toDr. Kerr and staff for making a differ-ence in my life. After only six months,I no longer have problems sleeping, don’t experience night sweats,my thinking is clearer and sharper, mymemory improved and I have foundthat my immune system is strongerand my energy level has increased. I’vebeen told that I look better and thatmy mood is always good. I look for-ward to the months ahead knowingthat things will continue to improveboth inside and out! I’m a fan –thanks again Dr. Kerr!”

Start Your Own Journey to VitalityThe first step in becoming a pa-

tient is to meet with the doctors atNRC and have blood work taken tosee whether you are hormone deficientin any way. Not surprisingly, most peo-ple over 35 are hormone-deficient, be-cause hormones tend to drop outabout that time in both men andwomen.

NRC patients also receive a per-sonalized nutrition and exercise proto-col as part of their treatment plan, andmany patients not only feel better, butlose a good deal of body fat duringtheir treatment. One female patient

who came in seeking relief for severemenstrual cramps was pleasantly sur-prised when she started losing weight. Not only were her menstrual symp-toms resolved, but also after sheddinga burdensome 50 pounds, she looks asgreat as she feels.

“There are men and women whoare doing everything possible in thegym with no real results. That changeswith bio-identical HRT. Trainers referfrustrated clients to us all the time be-cause when your hormones are at theideal levels, when you work out it ac-tually works,” says Dr. Kerr.

NRC isn’t just an HRT clinic. Pa-tients are provided with an individual-ized training protocol and find thatthey achieve much better results anddon’t have to work out as much or asfrequently as they thought it wouldtake to look and feel the way they do.The doctors and staff at NRC are ded-icated to helping each client get the re-sults they desire, whether it meanschanging up an exercise routine, ad-justing hormone levels or making bet-ter choices for a healthier diet.

The team of doctors at NRC isdedicated to continuing their educa-tion in the fascinating study of rejuve-nation medicine, and is committed totreating each of their patients to thebest of their abilities. If you are look-ing for a way to feel better, look betterand have more energy, consider lettingthe doctors at National RejuvenationCenters be your confidante for health. They make it affordable and conven-ient for you and help patients regaintheir passion for life every day.

National Rejuvenation Centersis located at 34254 U.S. Hwy 19N. in Palm Harbor. Office hours areMon., Wed. and Fri., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.,and 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on Tues. Pleasecall 727-785-5652 or visit online atwww.nrcenters.com for more info.

Cynthia and her husband SteveByrd, 48, love the way NRC hasworked for them. Cynthia says, “I justwanted to let you know how happyI’ve been since I made the decision toget started with your practice andbeing started on my hormone therapyprogram.
