At the Hahndorf Farm Barn, our aim is to give all children the chance to experience what it’s really like to live on a true working farm.

ACTIVITIES FORTHE CLASSROOM
TO GET READY FORYOUR VISIT!
Bottle-feed the baby goats and lambs and cuddle the bunny rabbits and guinea pigs! Observe the lifecycle of chickens.See how living things grow, change and have babies similar to themselves!Attend the Farm show and meet Billie the alpaca.Learn about where milk comes from and try your hand at milking Daisy the cow!Visit the wildlife park to hand feed ostriches, emus, kangaroos, deer, peacocks, ducks and geese.Attend the Reptile show and get up close and personal with the lizards and pythons and learn about snake safety!
Only $9 (inc. gst) for children and 1 teacher/helper is free ofcharge for every 6 junior primary children in a group.Subsequent teachers or parents attending are now just $10 (inc. gst) per adult.Carers of children with special needs are free of charge.School excursions from 10am to 1.30pm.Prices valid to Dec 31st 2013.
