Missoula Children’s Theatre presents PINOCCHIO, an original country western adaptation of the classic tale of PINOCCHIO. Geppetto fashioned the puppet in the image of a small boy. Even as the lonely and kind woodcarver worked far into the night, old Geppetto was not aware that the wood under the chisel had come from the trunk of an enchanted tree. But the Blue Fairy was aware, as she watched from afar and gave to that puppet the gift of life. Thus begins the Missoula Children's Theatre adaptation of one of the most beloved of all children’s stories–PINOCCHIO. Join our wooden-head as he travels the road to Pleasure Isle with Candlewick and his Crew, is swindled by the unsavory Fox and Cat, escaping only to find himself in trouble once more. We learn with Pinocchio that there are no shortcuts on the road to becoming a real, live boy.

The Missoula Children's Theatre's two actors will guide boys and girls from grades 1-12 (as of Fall 2014) through auditions and rehearsals to finished performance in only one week! Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. Although not all cast members will be needed at every rehearsal session, they must be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. All students must attend the group casting audition on Monday, July 14, 9:30 am at Gladstone High School. No advance preparation is necessary, but a SMILE ☺ never hurts. Be ready to come and have a good time!

Pre-register as space is limited!
