...and introducing…..Jaihee Choi!
“Hi! I’m Jaihee Choi, and I’m so honored to be appointed Key Club’s
Director of Activities. I’m super duper excited for this school year and eager
to help contribute to making the world a better place, along with my fellow
Key Clubbers. As your Activities Director, I will try my best to find lots of great
events that will help a good cause and help you earn as many hours as
possible. I love meeting new people, and I’m super outgoing, so please,
don’t be afraid to come up to me and introduce yourself! So all in all, I
know Key Club this year will accomplish great things, and I can’t wait to be
a part of it all!”
Director of Activities, 2011-2012
Congratuations to our Members of the Month...
Imeh Nsek, Class of 2015
Starting out as a new member in a club can be hard to adjust for some people, but Imeh proves that servant leadership is the most powerful and profound when it is driven by pure passion and dedication. From BAPS Walk to AIDS Walk, Imeh truly stands out among others. His hardwork has truly inspired us officers and make us proud. The club thanks him (and his parents’!) involvement in the club. You. You are the reason we are moving forward!
Rachel Chung, Class of 2013
Chino Hills High School is very blessed to have members such as Rachel who radiates joy and carries with her a servant heart every time she par-ticipates in an event. This past month, Rachel has truly caught the officers’ eyes with the active role she plays in furthering the progress of our club. Not only does she make herself present at Key Club events, she brings her mom with her. Parent involvement is ALWAYS encouraged and needed in order o ensure our club to grow. Thank you, Ra-chel, for all of your hard work!

EVENT RECAPS

AIDs Walk Los Angeles
“Wearing my division 15 giraffe shirt, and carrying my obnoxious multicol-
ored Jansport backpack, I stepped out of the school bus and began to
take the first steps of what would soon be a 6-mile journey to raise
awareness for a deathly disease. This was about the be my fourth and
last appearance at AIDs Walk, a Key Club annual event, as a high
school Key Clubber and that thought tugged my heart in a bittersweet
way. Leading the biggest group that the club has ever brought to AIDs
Walk for the past four years That I was a member, I set out with a more
than the determination to raise awareness for this cause. I was deter-
mined to resonate Key Club spirit at its rawest, at its loudest, at its best
whenever someone would direct the question “Key Clubbers, how do
you feel?” towards us. I was determined to prove to new members that
Chino Hills High School Key Club’s impact extends further than the prox-
imity of our school and our community. I was determined to indulge in
the sight of Key Clubbers bonding, Key Clubbers uniting, and Key Club-
bers serving for one shared goal. Thank you, AIDs Walk Los Angeles, for
leaving me with such impressionable memories to hold dear and to
treasure. Throughout the whole six miles, I was the happiest vice presi-
dent ever. We left something in Los Angeles and in the hearts of many
that Sunday. We left our footprints.”
