The lymphatic system is responsible for removing interstitial fl uid from tissues. It absorbs and transports fatty acids and fats to the circulatory system and transports antigen-presenting cells to the lymph nodes where an immune response is stimulated. Diseases and other problems of the lymphatic system usually cause swelling and other symptoms.

The BTL`s Lymphastim works on the pneumatic presso-therapy principle. Special applicators with several overlapping chambers provide a gentle massage which encourages the natural circulation of the lymph through the body, similar to the manual lymph drainage provided by therapist’s hands.
