Castlegar Hosts 2014 - 2015Female Bantam HockeyProvincial Championships!

Girls aged 13 (grade eight) and 14 (grade nine) alongwith their families will soon be arriving from all overthe province to attend and compete in this year’s FemaleBantam Hockey Provincial Championships. Our WestKootenay Wildcats team is comprised of girls from thecommunities of Kaslo, Nelson, Castlegar, Fruitvale, rail,Rossland and Grand Forks.

Te championship games begin Sunday, March 15 withthe opening ceremonies and banquet dinner on the eve-ning of the 15th. Games then continue during the weekwith the championship game on the nal day, Tursday,March 19 at 8 pm.

A team ambassador is assigned to each visiting team.Tis representative will attend each of their games (oneper day) and provide participants with community info,things to go and do, directions, good places to eat, andmay even invite them for dinner.
