Third Sunday of Easter
the road to Emmaus. This is a familiar story, and I find it easy to identify with the disappointment and discouragement of the two disciples, Cleopas and his unnamed companion. We can probably all recall a time when we were either greatly disappointed or up against a problem to which we saw no solution.
