FROM THE FACILIES DEPARTMENT:

PAINTING: Painting of the steel beams that support the covered parking areas will begin as listed on the schedule below. The process for prepping, priming, and painting these beams will be approximately 3 days. Residents who have automobiles parked in covered parking will be given a location to park their automobiles while this painting project is being performed. -Aug 22 thru Aug 25 – 1000 Covered Parking (alternate parking is in the employee parking lot or any open space in the 1000 cluster).

There is a JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts, a Fader's tobacconist and fine gifts with outdoor seating for the smokers and a Mary’s Bridal Boutique. Stephen King opens The 2016 Library of Congress National Book Festival on the Main Stage at 11 AM with a presentation and recognition of his lifelong work promoting literacy.
