TUESDAY AFTERNOON MOVIE: “Civil War Battlefield,” NR (2HR 8MIN), TUESDAY, MAY 30, 1:30PM – AUDITORIUM: The American Civil War was one of the greatest conflicts in the history of mankind, and the bloodiest and saddest war in American history. What began as a bitter dispute over the Union ended as a struggle over the meaning of freedom in America. YOGA WITH MARION ROBBINS, THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 10:30AM – AUDITORIUM: Marion Robbins is back from Portugal. “A deep bow of appreciation to Pat Zelman for taking over the class while I was gone. I look forward to practicing together with you again” –Marion Robbins LINDA’S TREASURES, FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 11AM – GAME ROOM: Linda’s Treasures HOT, HOT, HOT Boutique is coming to you on Friday, June 2 in the Game Room. Everything you need to stay cool and fashionable in the summer is available for you and yours! There’s something for everyone. See YOU there! BUS TOUR, FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 2PM: A bus tour of the surrounding community will be leave from the Clocktower on Friday, June 2 at 2PM, and will be back at Collington by 4PM. Sign up for the bus tour in the Trip book. Priority is given to residents who have moved to Collington within the past 6 months and who have not gone on a prior tour of the surrounding community. Other residents are welcomed to come if there are any free seats on the bus; space on the bus is limited, and in part depends on how many rollators and wheelchairs are on the bus. There is no cost for the trip. The bus does not stop during the trip, so there is usually no need to have a walker or rollator on board (and most people with wheelchairs find they do not need to take them on board the bus). SHABBAT SERVICE AND DINNER, FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 5:30PM – AUDITROIUM: The Friday Shabbat service and dinner will begin at 5:30PM. To reserve your place, please call x2135 no later than Thursday, June 1 at 4PM to let them know who is coming.
