Depending on our emotional attachment to the person or object lost, our grieving will be shorter or longer. And we will grieve. It is a normal, healthy and expected process. We may have physical reactions, we may have cognitive challenges, and we will have emotional reactions. As we grieve will need to take time to be alone to recover from shock. How about some dry-cured Iberico ham, or some dry-cured Iberico pork Chorido sausage, or what about Iberico Pork dry-cured Salchichon sausage, or dry-cured pork loin, or Prosciutto. Now I'm not sure what any of this means. I think its Italian. But some folks who came in thought it sounded mighty good. SAVE THE DATE 3RD FLOOR RESIDENTS: The 3rd floor is having a welcome party for new floor residents in the Common Room overlooking the apartment parking lot on Thursday, October 12. A MESSAGE FROM THE LIBRARY: If you love your library, please follow the proper procedure for checking out books. It seems some folks are taking library books off the shelves without signing them out. You may think that’s OK if you return the book. But if you don’t sign a book out and sign in back in, or don’t put it in the Return Book box by the check-out desk, it may not be shelved properly, making it difficult to find the book. Also, books returned to the Return Book box are date stamped. This is our way of knowing that the books are circulating. We need your help to make sure the books we purchase can be enjoyed by all. DINING ROOM NOTICE, FROM CHRIS RAMSEY: In early October, you will see something new in the Dining Room. We will be installing computer hardware and software in anticipation for The Landing opening.
