SHPE Conference 2010

October 27-31, 2010. GT-SHPE members attended the National

SHPE Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Each year, the SHPE Confer-

ence attracts over 5,000 engineering professionals, students and

corporate representatives.

Career Forum

September 11, 2010. Members prepare for the GT Career

Fair. A BP representative shares resume tips at the GT-SHPE

NSBE Career Forum.

General Meetings

November 4, 2010. Roxana Doritis speaks to GT-SHPE members about the

opportunities available with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

September 16, 2010. GT-SHPE members are prepared to ask questions

about job opportunities at the General Mills meeting.

GT-SHPE Soccer

December 7, 2010. The GT-SHPE Team came out on top and became the

Soccer School Champions of 2010!

Racquetball

March 8, 2011. GT-SHPE was also the Racquetball Champions!

PRONIDES Daycare

PRONIDES Center was established by volunteers in order to provide

care for children of low income households. GT-SHPE’s goal is to

give appropriate medical care and nutritional needs for their physical

and intellectual development.

GT Football Tailgating

Fall 2010. During the Fall Semester at the home football games, GT-

SHPE showed its White and Gold pride at the tailgate events.

Black & White Party

October 22, 2010. GT-SHPE’s Annual "Black & White" Party was

at Steel Lounge in Atlanta, GA.

Valentine’s Party

February 18, 2011. SHPE hosted its annual Valentine’s Party

at Steel Lounge in Atlanta. The proceeds of the Valentine’s

party were donated to the PRONIDES Center located in Santa

Cruz , Bolivia.
