When a physician remarked on a newpatient's extraordinarily ruddycomplexion, he said, "High bloodpressure, Doc. It comes from myfamily.""Your mother's side or your father's?"I asked."Neither," he replied. "It's from mywife's family.""Oh, come now," I said. "How couldyour wife's family give you highblood pressure?"He sighed. "You oughta meet 'emsometime, Doc!"
US tourists, a man and his wife aretraveling in the Middle East. An Arabapproaches the husband, saying, "I'llgive you 100 camels for yourwoman."After a long silence, the husband says,"She's not for sale."The indignant wife says, "What tookyou so long to answer?"The husband replied, "I was trying tofigure out how to get 100 camels backhome."
Grandpa and Grandma were sitting intheir porch rockers watching thebeautiful sunset and reminiscing about"the good old days," when Grandmaturned to Grandpa and said, "Honey,do you remember when we firststarted dating and you used to justcasually reach over and take myhand?"Grandpa looked over at her, smiledand obligingly took her aged hand inhis.
With a wry little smile, Grandmapressed a little farther, "Honey, doyou remember how after we wereengaged, you'd sometimes lean overand suddenly kiss me on the cheek?"Grandpa leaned slowly towardGrandma and gave her a lingering kisson her wrinkled cheek.Growing bolder still, Grandma said,"Honey, do you remember how, afterwe were first married, you'd kind ofnibble on my ear?"Grandpa slowly got up from hisrocker and headed into the house.Alarmed, Grandma said, "Honey, where are you going?"Grandpa replied, "To get my teeth!"
Who's guilty here?A wife is dreaming in bed, shesuddenly wakes up and shouts, "quickmy husband is home!" Her husbandwakes up and jumps out the window!
In the middle of an argument a mansaid to his wife, "I don't know howyou can be so stupid and so beautifulall at the same time!"The wife responded calmly, "Allowme to explain...the good Lord mademe beautiful so you would beattracted to me; and he made mestupid so I would be attracted to you!"
If flying is so safe, why do they callthe airport the terminal?
I don't approve of political jokes. I'veseen too many of them get elected.

Surprise Results
Waterford have a history ofsurprising Tipperary in majorgames, when the Premier Countyare favourites. Examples are the1959 Munster Semi final in Cork, when Tipp were defending Munsterand All Ireland Champions ( 9-3 to3-4), the 1963 Munster final atLimerick when Tipp, who hadtrounced Waterford in the previoustwo finals, at the Gaelic Grounds, lost both Munster and All Irelandtitles (0-11 to 0-8), the NHL’’Home’’ Final same year ( 2-15 to4-7 ), the 1983 Munster semi finalin Cork, when Tipp were on theway back having beaten Clare inthe first round, but were surprised (4-13 to 2-15), 1998 semi final atCork ,when Tipp had been Munsterand All Ireland runners up to Clarethe previous year (0-21 to 2-12),the 2002 Munster final in Corkwhen Tipp, the reigning All Irelandchampions, were again relieved of
their Munster title, as Waterfordwon their first in thirty nine years, with an unstoppable late surge ofscoring (2-23 to 3-12), the 2006 AllIreland quarter final at Croke Park, when Waterford overturned aneight point loss in Munster (1-22 to3-13) and of course the 2008 AllIreland Semi Final, when the Whiteand Blue inflicted the only defeatof the year on Tipp (1-20 to 1-18).
Tipp v Waterford inCork
Tipperary and Waterford have metin the Championship at Cork (CorkAthletic Grounds or Pairc UiChaoimh) on 14 occasions –Tipperary have won 9 andWaterford 5. Dating back to 1998,Waterford have won 3 of the last 6matches with Tipperary that wereplayed at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Second bite
2006 was unusual in Waterford/Tipp rivalry, because it was onlythe second time the counties hadmore than one meeting in thechampionship, the same year.(There was a Waterford win in a1933 replay). Tipp won theMunster Semi final meeting inCork in June, by 3-14 to 1-12 on aday that Waterford had severalinjury problems and Lar Corbettscored his first championship goalagainst them. Waterford came backto get their revenge in a Croke ParkQuarter final, hitting an impressive1-22 to win by 3 points. Theirseason ended in agonisingcircumstances when Cork beatthem by 1-16 to 1-15 in the semifinal.

Number crunching
The attendance at last year’sMunster final – same teams , samevenue- was 36,654 while 40,330were at Semple Stadium for the2009 decider. The Decies’breakthrough win in 2002 brought40,276 patrons to Pairc Ui Chaoimh.Their previous final meeting in 1989also at Pairc Ui Chaoimh drew acrowd of only 30,241. While thatwas the 100th Munster Final andWaterford had beaten Clare andCork to qualify, the ‘live’ televisionbroadcast kept many people athome. After that Final, the TippCaptain Bobby Ryan received theMunster Cup from ProvincialChairman and former Tipp full back,Michael Maher. Bobby was the firstTipp captain to lift the cup in Corksince his uncle Pat Stakelum RIPhad done so in 1949.
