The 16-Slice CT Scanner is a sophisticated device producing high definition body images, in just a few seconds, by means of X-rays.

CT Scans offer images of far greater detail than conventional X-rays.

Conventional X-rays are obtained by directing a single X-ray beam through the body. CT Scanner uses an X-ray tube which produces a fan-shaped beam that is directed through a slice of the body to a detector array that measures the X-ray attenuation; the strength of the x-ray signal as it passes through the body.

Different types of exams can be performed with the CT Scanner such Internal organs, Vascular, Brain and skeletal images, etc.
