FOREWORDA NOTE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

SHPE-USC SPONSORSHIP BROCHURE | 02

Our chapter is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students of all engineering backgrounds, class-standings, and experiences. Each member of our chapter contributes the same enthusiasm for SHPE, embodying all five pillars on which we were established: academic excellence, professionalism, leadership, chapter development, and community outreach. Our members not only shine within SHPE, but many are also leaders on campus and within their communities. SHPE-USC prides itself in developing individuals who are always advancing but always willing to give back to the advancement of others.

We ask that you take the time to review the following documentation and consider assisting SHPE-USC’s progress in the form of a sponsorship. Our Program Calendar details which events we have scheduled for this academic year and the Collaboration Opportunities section includes a synopsis of our major events and how you can get involved. Finally, our Patron Sponsorship section outlines how your donation will fund our growth and improvement as a professional organization.

Should there be any additional questions you have that our corporate package cannot answer, we invite you to reach out to any of our chapter’s dedicated leaders. We greatly appreciate your demonstrated desire to help our chapter and we hope that you will consider investing in our members.

Best Regards, Milly Rodriguez

This is a great opportunity for our members to network with other Hispanic students and engage with professionals from across the country. In just a few short days this event hosts professional development, leadership development, and academic development workshops to benefit all members. Additionally, a career fair is held every year which provides countless internship and full-time job opportunities for our members. Sponsors can financially sponsor our chapter to help send more members to the HENAAC conference in Anaheim, CA this fall.

January 2018 Spring Networking Hour

The Networking Hour provides company representatives the unique opportunity to exclusively interact with SHPE members in an informal cocktail setting. Each company will be able to network with our members on a one-to-one basis and recruit talent for internships and full-time positions. Sponsors are provided a company spotlight at the event as well as access to the attendees resumes beforehand. Sponsors can also provide hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments for the hour.
