expert committee member visited Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology on

SOM – INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAY 1

The First day of the Induction programme for the 2019-2021 batch students of School of

Management commenced in grandeur today. Principal Madam Dr.J.Janet delivered the

presidential address to the students of First year and their parents and presented a report

highlighting the Institutional achievements. The felicitation address was given by Dr.Albert

Raj , Dean Academics. Dr.K.Nagarajan, Head of the Department, SoM welcomed the

students and parents and briefed the audience of the schedule of the induction programme.

The Chief guest Dr.Guru Selvaraj, General Manager (HR & IR) Flowlink Systems (P)

Ltd, Coimbatore delivered the inaugural address on “The Road Ahead” and enlightened

the new entrants about the term “Sporting Spirit” and explained about the essential skills

such as lateral thinking, presence of mind, value quotient, leadership skills, effective

communication, team work, decision making and continuous search for knowledge.

EEE STUDENT INPLANT TRAINING





The team TROODONS comprising of 25 students from Department of Mechanical

Engineering is participating in Bharath Formula Karting Championship at Kari Motors

Speedway, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore from 10th to 13th September, 2019. The team has

completed their Technical Inspection round successfully and is geared up for the Dynamic

event round scheduled for tomorrow. The Faculty mentor of the team is Mr. S. Karthik,

Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering.

Hosur from 9/9/19 to 12/9/9.

presented their technical papers on the title “Appraisal of Metallurgical and Mechanical

properties of polyamide 12 Reinforced with x wt% of glass fiber by FDM process” and

“Tribological behavior of PA-12-GF composite parts fabricated via fused deposition

modeling” at the 9th International Conference on 3D Printing and Additive

Manufacturing Technologies, Bengaluru. They were mentored by Dr.R.Soundarajan,

Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
