A Carbon Capture & Use (“CCU”) technology with two objectives:

CO2 capture from industrial exhausts

Low energy, green process for production of soda chemicals

Superior alternative to Carbon Capture & Storage (“CCS”)

Technology tested at demo test plant site; now ready to launch Pilot plant

to demonstrate technology in real life industrial setting at a power station

at Kollsnes, Norway

A self-sustaining and commercially viable CO2 capture technology

Reference case is based on

ISO standard databases.

For EnPro 1 (CaOH raw

material use) and EnPro 2

(fly ash raw material use),

emissions related to

electricity use are due to

electricity provided through

the grid.

Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) - a potential

alternative output (in EnPro process) to

Soda ash. It has many uses such as in

animal feed, food, pharmaceuticals, flue gas

desulfurization, cleaning products and many

more

Caustic soda (NaOH) - an intermediate

product and a potential alternative output (in

Enpro process) to Soda ash. It is industrially

produced as 50% solution and used in

industries like paper and pulp, textiles, oil

drilling, refineries, soaps, detergents and

cleaners. Annual production is 60 million

tons

EnPro CMT – The power of “why”

STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL

NDA REQUIRED FOR EXTERNAL SUBMISSIONS

”It is expected that during the next 18 years 3 billion people

will be lifted from poverty to middle-class standard of living”

POLEKO 2012

”In the western world not one day goes by without people

being in contact with something that has been involving

Soda Ash”

This will lead to increased demand for products for which

soda ash is an important raw material and EnPro is

technologically well positioned to contribute to low

carbon Soda chemicals solutions for a green future.
