Change Brings New Opportunities
ldquoThe Women of the Moose believes that the new Mooseheart Activity Center is the perfect time for a joint venture of everyone giving to the same cause ndashnot men and women divided Let this building stand as a testament to what we can accomplish when we truly work together as onerdquo ndash Barb McPherson Women of the Moose Grand Chancellor
From the FMA President November 2019I attended the Town Hall meeting in Orlando this past weekend along with 608 other Moose members Congratulations must go to the Committee of Moose International that put the program together as it was very informative with the speakers covering our past present and hopefully our future history The first thing I want to inform those members who could not attend is that the One Moose program will be voted on at the Milwaukee
convention in 2020 by the men of the Fraternity and after all wording and governmental regulations have been certified it will be adopted at the convention in Cincinnati in 2021 and take affect May 1st 2021
The entire program was recorded and Moose International in approximately 2 weeks will be putting it on YouTube so that all members can view the slides presented and hear the questions and answers that were put forth to the Committee I believe both the men and women will be pleasantly surprised when they have finished viewing the meeting
Halloween is behind us and we are finally getting some cooler autumn weather Thanksgiving is our next holiday and many Lodges and Chapters will be having food drives or even cooking and serving meals to those who may not be as fortunate as others This would be a good time to get involved in these events and show our Community and show our neighbors that the Moose are there for them Gail and I wish all a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you enjoy the holiday with family and friends
