From Fr. Joe…. As I do every November, I am pleased to now share with you the annual reports for St. André’s Parish, outlining facts and figures related to the spiritual life and financial stewardship of our parish for the year July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017. I hope you’ll spend some time reviewing this information. I think that most of the data is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any ques-tions about what you see, please do not hesitate to contact me or another member of the parish staff and we’ll be happy to get you some answers. I’m still away on retreat, and will be returning on Thursday. I’m sure you’ll take good care of Fr. Scott for me while I’m gone.

Welcome to St. André’s Parish! No matter who you are, where you’ve come from, or what brings you here, we’re so glad to have you with us. St. André Bessette (1845-1937) spent much of his life serving as the door-keeper of his religious community; like him, we strive to open doors for our neighbors to experi-ence the loving mercy of God. May Jesus fill your heart with his grace and peace!

I. Death II. Judgment III. Heaven

IV. Hell

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parishioners of St. Andre Bessette Parish for the gifts, cards, kind words, and prayers extended to me on the occasion of my Ordination. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed and I'm humbled by the sup-port you have given over the years of my formation. I look for-ward to serving the needs of our parish community as I begin my Diaconate. May God Bless You.

Deacon Nicholas J. Haas Blessings! I would like to express my gratitude to all of you here at St. Andre’s. Your support for my Vocation has humbled me more than you will every know! All of the cards, gifts and kind words have certainly been and are appreciated. The Deacon is called to service in the Church and its people, I look forward to being of service to the poor, elderly and those that have fallen away. I ask you to continue to pray not only for me, but for Dea-cons Bryan and Nick and of course our great Priest Fr. Joe and Fr. Scott, they both are great examples of living the Gospel!! God bless you all, glorify the Lord by your life.

Deacon Brent

Prayer to St. Michael

As some may recall, this prayer, written by Pope Leo XIII (1810-1903), was prayed after Mass for many years. We would do well to ask once again for the protection of the leader of heaven’s ar-mies in these turbulent and uncertain times.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,

be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou,

O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan

and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world

seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING St. André's Pastoral Council will be meeting on Monday, Novem-ber 20th, at 6:30pm in the “cry room” at St. Joseph’s Church. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

SCOUTING FOR FOOD - THANK YOU!

Catholic Charities and the Good Samaritan Food Pantry would like to extend a sincere thank you to members of the local Scouts for another successful food drive in the village of Malone, on Saturday, October 28th. The food needs in our community con-tinue to grown and your efforts have made a great difference. Thank you for your community service and for helping others with the 2500 food items collected. Your efforts on a beautiful, warm day were exemplary and the number of helpers allowed more streets to be covered and many more items to be donated. God Bless your works!
