I hope all members had a very pleasant and safe Easter Break, I am sure there would have been chocolate aplenty.

I have been enjoying this cooler, wet weather and enjoying seeing the garden grow.

Thank you to members who invited guests to our meeting on 30 March. I am aware of 2 nominations for membership that have been submitted to join our great club. If you had a guest, or two at the meeting don't forget to contact them and encourage them to come along and join us again.

If any other members have guests they would like to invite you don't need to wait until an information night to invite them along. The club is more than happy to welcome guests at any meeting.

We have a few events and activities coming up. I'll list them below so you can add them to your diary.

16 April - Members and partners have been invited to join with the Rotary Club of Hannans for their social night at Beaten Track Brewery. Partners are also welcome.

A sheet will go around Monday night for numbers. If you are not going to be at the meeting please let me know by

email or leave a message on my mobile so I can let Sam know how many will be attending for catering purposes.

5 June - Battle of the Brains Quiz Night. Planning is in hand for this major fundraiser. Monday night a list and letters will be available for members to approach sponsors for prizes. For the night to be a success we all need to assist.

4 July is changeover. This is our Anniversary night and I know Gloria is planning an exciting night for us.

19 July - Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. This will be our first fundraiser for Gloria's year. More details will follow shortly.

APRIL is MAGAZINE Month

This will be held at The Sebel Hotel in Mandurah. For the first time we will be combining our

PETS program with District 9455. This will be held from Friday evening to Sunday lunch

time. Partners welcome. More detail to follow.

What a great night we had for our Information Evening with a number of new faces joining us for our meeting and enjoying fellowship with members and other guests.

As President Esther mentioned, we have received two nominations and once the Board has reviewed those nominations, details will be published in a future bulletin for

members’ information.

Bringing along potential members is a great way to grow our club membership.

If you are having a meal, please order and pay in the Restaurant by no later than 6.25pm.

Late orders will not be taken for meals. First time guests, who are potential members, will
